Iriomote
The Galapagos of the East
Anchor the boat in the midst of one of the last unexplored regions of Japan.
Iriomote sometimes referred toas “the Galapagos of the East” is 90% covered in sub-tropical jungle. You will be taken on a guided four-hour mountain trek where we anticipate sightings of rare wild animals such as the highly endangered Iriomote wildcats, crowned eagles, and round-back tortoises. Complete the day with a soak in outdoor hot springs, the ultimate in relaxation. Kayaking expeditions are available as well as the perfect place to play on the water sports toys, or scuba dive and snorkel.
